Deconstructing War

“Deconstructing War” is a group exhibition of artists who are part of the collective known as the ARTNAUTS. It begins its tour at the International Center of Bethlehem in Palestine. The images herein address “war” in general and the Iraq War in particular.

War diminishes our humanity. And unjust wars do this even more so.

As artists, we must lead our respective countries toward a vision beyond what our governments do. We must speak out so that the meaning of this madness might move consciousness to a more humanistic level.

We also must let others outside of our own country know that we are addressing this issue. Hence this exhibition is in Palestine and will tour to Ramallah, with hopes that it might be placed in a venue in Israel.
